Astrology and Physics

When I started designing posters, I was very inspired by the Bauhaus style.
I like the clear lines and simple shapes. At first I designed a poster very close to the original I found on the internet, but placed it in a different context. I turned it into an astronomical poster entitled Viking 1 & 2, the first Mars probes. This exercise helped me to work better with Figma and to make my first attempts at poster design. There was no client, I simply created them for myself.
Here I got inspired by the physical phenomenon: The doppler effect
As I went on, I took a more free approach, but I stayed with a similar theme. In the process, I moved away from the simple reproduction of other posters. As I did with the Viking poster, I just designed this for myself and as an exercise.

The beauty of flowers
Inspired by one of my favourite Instagram channels (@_kickin_) Instead of pictures or illustrations, I used stock videos of flowers and animated titles. The white and red flowers seemed so opposite and yet the same. Like siblings. That's how I came up with the title Duality with the subtitle Same but different. Thinking further about flowers, it reminds me that you often receive them as a gift or see them in nature, either way they bring joy and brighten up the day. These unexpected encounters with the beauty of nature can create moments of happiness and contentment that enrich life. That's where the title serendipity comes from. Serendipity describes the phenomenon of discovering something valuable or beautiful without specifically looking for it.
Wintersemester 2022
Numi
In my fourth semester, we worked in a group of three to realise a project in the form of an app with a matching corporate design. Our professor gave us the task of creating a product on the topic of ‘Good intentions’. The name of the app is ‘Numi’, an artificial word derived from the resolution ‘New year, new me’. The app's slogan is ‘Numi - Challenges for me’ - which also describes its function.
I illustrated a robin as a symbol for a new beginning and designed the matching typography for the logo.
The app is aimed at anyone who wants to keep their (New Year's) resolutions. However, the colourful and playful design makes it particularly attractive for young users aged 16 and over. With Numi, you can set yourself various challenges from the categories of exercise, consumption, nutrition, learning/career, social and self.
We additonally designed a business card, letterhead, a postcard campaign and also conceptualized the product behind the company: The Numi-app.

Wintersemester 2023
AI.M.S. 3D
In our second media project, we had a real client for the first time, two doctoral students from the Jade University of Applied Sciences in Oldenburg, who wanted to make a project outside the university context.

We developed a corporate design for them. This included a new name, a logo, business stationery, trade fair gifts, a website and press releases.
In a team of nine fellow students, we worked on this for a semester and learnt a lot about project management with Scrum along the way.

Collect
In my sixth semester, I developed an app concept in Strategic Media Management together with two fellow students. Our fictional client was the magazine industry. After an introduction to strategy development and implementation, we worked on this project to realise strategic planning in the media industry.

Collect is our solution idea for the magazine industry to increase the interest and popularity of fashion magazines again.
As a classic online fashion magazine with a strong personalisation factor, Collect offers a unique experience for fashion enthusiasts. The magazine also includes a navigation feature that bridges the gap between digital inspiration and physical shopping by allowing users to find and purchase their favourite fashion items in local shops.

Tim Hutmacher

During my internship at the Kopf und Hand agency, I not only did traditional agency tasks, but was also able to expand my passion for illustration.
A particular highlight was working on the illustrations for Tim Hutmacher's project, which became my absolute favourite task. Tim Hutmacher is a psychologist for children and teenagers and required a new website. This also needed to include illustrations to match the logo. This task allowed me to try out new creative approaches and further develop my own, as yet unknown style. This project not only expanded my creative horizons, but also showed me how much joy and fulfilment there is in creating illustrations.
